Let’s meet at Les Jardins de la Ballue on September 9th

The Château de la Ballue, in partnership with EBTS France, is proud to present the French edition of the Handbook, written by Lynn R. Batdorf.

Boxwood is a familiar shrub throughout the USA and Europe but remains partially misunderstood to this day.

The Handbook written by the former Conservator of the National Box Collection in Washington, provides practical and technical information on the cultivation of boxwood. All of this in a readable and usable form, supplemented by 90 color pictures.

Program :

– 11 AM : Official presentation of the Handbook to the press by the author Lynn R. Batdorf. The Handbook is published by EBTS France, the translation was made by our delegate Martine Higonnet.
– 1.30 PM : Lunch at the Château de la Ballue
– 3 PM : Lecture by Lynn R. Batdorf, followed by a visit to the gardens and the boxwood collection. Handbooks signing session.

Participation : 50 euros per person. (up on availabilities)
